Dear Partners, 

Touch Dynamic is committed to providing advance notice to ensure a smooth transition and with minimal business disruption. Please be advised that selected Android 13 GMS terminals offered by Touch Dynamic will transition to Android 15 on November 1, 2026. 

Purpose of change: 

Android 15 is designed to provide a more secure, reliable, and future-ready experience. The update includes improvements to system security, privacy controls, device performance, and application compatibility while laying the foundation for new features and services from software providers. Customers can expect a more stable and efficient platform that aligns with Google's latest Android standards and supports the evolving needs of modern business environments.

Affected models include: Nexus Series, Summit, Pavilion, Gladiator 

NOT Affected models include: Digivue  Mini, Quest Handheld, Vector, hardware with Android 13 (x86) or custom images 

Stock and relevant dates : 

Starting 11/1/2026, new Android hardware will be quoted with Android 15. A new SKU will be provided to differentiate the new version of Android for the impacted models. For hardware already in the field, an option to upgrade will appear in the settings to upgrade to Android 15 (Refer to QSM-0787 from the Halo Portal at https://support.touchdynamic.com/)
