Booting

Possible bad power supply.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”Can not get into windows (Error in Bios)?”]Hold DEL when booting to get to BIOS, Load Optimized Defaults, YES to Load Optimized Defaults, Standard CMOS Features, Change DRIVE A to NONE, Save Changes and Exit.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”Window screen loads but won’t go into windows?”]try F8 During Windows Loading Screen to go into Safe Mode. Touch

[toggle_content heading=”Elo touch controller no flashing?”]Touch controller has to be changed.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”Touch not following finger?”]Go to Control Panel,( Touch Panel for Fuji – ELO for Elo) , Calibrate.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”Touch not working?”]Possible – Bad Touch Glass, Bad Touch Controller (If Fuji controller, make sure Touch controller dip switches are set correctly 1.2.3. up and 4 is set down) Reinstall Touch Driver.[/toggle_content]

Video

[toggle_content heading=”No video?”]Check to see video power button is on (Located under front bezel), Video Card may need to be replaced.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”Video off center of screen?”]Hold down Auto Adjust button underneath front bezel.[/toggle_content]

Sound

[toggle_content heading=”No Sound”]Check Sound Drivers, Sound Properties to make sure mute is not on and also make sure speakers are plugged into video card on motherboard.[/toggle_content]

CD-ROM

[toggle_content heading=”CD Rom won’t open?”]Check to make sure CD-ROM is not getting hung up on plastic, loosen screws back of CDROM connecting to IDE 50 pin Adapter. (Longer screws can lock the CDROM shut). Also CD-ROM maybe bad.[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”CD Rom just blinks but won’t open?”]Flip IDE Cable opposite way on CD-ROM.[/toggle_content]

MSR

[toggle_content heading=”MSR won’t swipe or showing weird symbols?”]Set MSR dip switches to off. Check wires for damage. MSR maybe bad.[/toggle_content]

Certain Noises

[toggle_content heading=”Hard drive making whining or clicking sounds?”]Hard drives needs to be replaced (It is on its way out or already went).[/toggle_content] [toggle_content heading=”CPU fan making noise?”]Make sure wires are not touching the fan, screws may be too tight and bending plastic. Fan may need to be replaced.[/toggle_content]

Keyboard/Mouse

[toggle_content heading=”Keyboard or mouse not working?”]Check MSR dip switches to make sure there ON, if there is no MSR. If there is a MSR make sure the dip switches are OFF. Mouse may have become unplugged on board (orange, red, brown, black wires- located on lower right hand corner of mother board). Swap Keyboard or Mouse, they might just be bad.[/toggle_content]

USB

[toggle_content heading=”Front USB not working?”]Wire connecting to board (in front of power supply) has become unplugged. (Wire is Black, Red, Green, White).[/toggle_content]

Internet

[toggle_content heading=”Internet not working?”]Replace Internal CAT 5 Wire. ( Right click internet explorer, internet properties, connection, LAN Settings, Check Automatically Detect Settings, Reboot). Make sure drivers are installed. try plugging Ethernet wire into LAN directly on Motherboard, to see if you can get connection.[/toggle_content]
